"Sheriff Brett Kruse has served the Sheriff's Office and the citizens of Warrick County since 1993. He is a life-long county resident and has served as a Reserve Deputy, Motor Patrol Deputy, Detective and Detective Sergeant with crime scene and supervisory responsibilities. Kruse served as Chief Deputy from 2004 through 2010." Kruse was elected as sheriff in the November 2010 election. He was sworn in as sheriff on January 1, 2011 and will serve a four-year term.
